February marks Career Technical Education month nationwide. Career Technical Education (CTE) aims to foster workforce development, student achievement, and global competitiveness. It provides high school and postsecondary students with programming to help them identify their interests and an educational pathway to success in school and in their chosen profession.

The statewide Career Pathway and Program of Study (CP/PoS) Task Force is currently led by Community & Technical College Associate Dean of Academic Affairs Cathy LeCompte. Take a few moments to learn more about CP/PoS efforts throughout Alaska in the newly released Career Pathway eNews -- Preparing Alaska Youth "For What's Next."
